“Clouds” by Peter Franke

Peter Franke submitted a poem that he wrote circa 1976

CLOUDS

They come to us on wondrous days
Floating by in myriad ways…
Likened to people we should learn to accept
To enjoy these fleeting short moments of happiness…
Now grasped but unable to contain their delight
Clouds must be cherished then set free in their flight
