This would easily make a lovely picture on a calendar! Absolutely fantastic. What a sight this must have been to witness. Thank you very much, Mike!

Outstanding. The colours are absolutely gorgeous.

  3. Alex – and the ship. How close it was I know not but it looks close.

I have another one from a couple of days later which i will upload.

That is certainly a beautiful photo Michael. I am jealous of course. I am stuck with a cityscape and would love to get some pics like this where there is nothing but the sea and the storm. Well caught. :)

  5. Geoff & Carolyn thank you. The storm was massive. What you see in the foreground is just some secondary clouds with the background being the still active p[art of the storm and its high level anvil drifting away slowly out into the northern parts of the Straits of Malacca

It truly is a magnificent storm. A wonderous colour and majesty to the scene. Thank you for being there, Michael:D

  7. Geoff. Smith says:

Magnificant; what else can I say?

  8. Thanks both of you. The whole picture although I say it myself is amazing. My part – I was there with my camera. The rest is mainly luck and an understanding of storms.
